My Ph.D. thesis completed under the supervision of Professor Benjamin Andrews and Professor Gang Tian at the Australian National University and Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research.
The length of the thesis is significant because of the absence in the literature of any reference on Hermitian geometry. There is an abundance of choice on references for Kähler geometry, but very little to choose from concerning nonKähler Hermitian geometry.
Lectures notes from a series of lectures given at the Australian National University (ANU) in 2022. The student cohort consisted of approximately 200 second year undergraduate students. The majority of the students entered the course after taking the standardstream of first year mathematics courses offered by ANU (MATH1013 and MATH1014), but others had taken the honours firstyear stream (MATH1115 and MATH1116).
